I used to watch my mother cook growing up, so I have had the skills and the know-how for most of my life — my partner would eat from a jar or can when we first met.
Now he bakes bread, tends to a sourdough starter, kraut, brining olives, making pasta and the list goes on. When he isn’t working or playing with our kids, he is watching youtube clips on food. Food has the potential to bring people together — I hope one day soon you can share your new found skills.
