I was nodding…feeling the resonance with my own journey of growth.

It reminds me of this piece I read this week from Diana C. that had a song about wishing someone pain. Sounds weird, but it was in a way to prompt growth. Growth from insight only really takes us so far…like you say, sometimes we only hear the lesson when we feel the pain.
