It really is stunning. Loved our time there.
One place we visited was Hopkins. It was near Christmas time, the banks had run dry and we were unable to get a bus.
A lovely family took us in, feed us Chrissy lunch and trusted we would pay for our accommodation when the banks got sorted.
They were beautiful people.
We also had the most delicious lobster cerviche prepared by a local guy called Reuben… whose son’s name was also Reuben!
Seeking refuge from the heat under the shade and in the water.
The heat was more than bearable- perhaps we were there during a cooler period? The place and people made it even better.
