I don’t understand racism either. A human is a human. A life a life. Colour makes no difference. All lives matter.

I had a cop mate ask a table of friends this question… what if it had nothing to do with race at all. What if this cop had shite training, a bad day and a tendency to go on a power trip?

I did sit on this possibility for a bit.

I mean it is possible, but, even if that was the case, the ripples leading up to that point, have drops of racism painted on them. Systems are clearly broken.

Until we embrace that all lives matter and stop the segregation, I fear this will happen again and again.
