I remember reading your words about your heart-attack, knowing if it was me in Matilda’s or Billie’s shoes I would react differently.

The thought that I could possibly help them heal sitting in my head. But then….I couldn’t trust just me. I am too close to take steps with clarity and confidence with my kids…yet. Gifted me an interesting perspective though.

For now, I will be maintaining both paths to healing…until they are able to make their own choices.
