Carbon dioxide breathes in
Through the leaves
Of all the beautifully
Standing trees

Oxygen breathes out
For us to use as we please
Stomata to lungs a perfect dance
No waste, forever
balanced with nature’s finance

Home to many
Play time aplenty
Endless alchemy
Under the canopy

Nuts and fruits
More tree loot

Free from heavy boots
Connection to grounding roots

What else can I say?

Yep! I’ll hug a tree any day
