Well said.

I believe that sometimes we are unaware we are even being fake.

If the filters are whacked on so thickly, how can people see what is real or fake? To them being fake is their version of reality. Perhaps they know no better.

Saying that though, if one of our characteristics hurts others, I would agree that it is something to be aware of and then shine a light on to understand why. Search for a new meaning. Unfold to a better layer.
