You feel what you feel and it is your feeling to own.

There is no right or wrong way to feel.

The choice with how to respond, also yours.

I used to feel a charge when male business colleagues would presume it was ok to kiss me on my cheek instead of shake my hand.

When traveling overseas I am often mistaken for a local, until I start speaking. This is a moment I am amused and honoured by.

What I have learned is that if my reaction or feelings are charged, especially if I hold on to it, it is a sign for me to look inside and figure out why I am having a strong reaction.

Just my two cents on it.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

Thanks for gifting me space to reflect on my own.

Most importantly thanks for being you.
